WRL provides an opportunity for the youth of Virginia Beach and surrounding cities to play recreational basketball in a positive, instructive and supportive environment, with an emphasis in sportsmanship and teamwork. WRL offer programs for boys and girls basketball from ages 6 through 18.
ALL Youth Recreational teams will receive a jersey as part of their registration fee.
Registration fees for Pee-Wee division and for Farm division $110.
Practice is usually 1-2 nights a week beginning the 1st week in December. Teams will play 8 games in the regular season starting after Winter break usually Mid-January. Practice is held at College Park Elementary and Woodstock Elementary.
Pee Wee level games will be played on
Saturday's at College Park and TBD.
Farm level games will be played on
Friday or Saturday's at College Park and TBD.
City level games will be played on Saturday's at TBD by the city.
For Inclement weather: Practice and games cancellation will follow the Virginia Beach Public School System schedule. If school is closed there will be no practice or game.
